How do I have a career in racing?
I'm 17 and I have no experience in things like go karts. Are there any exceptions or do I have to have go karted since I was like 4 because It seems like if you don't start early it's impossible.
I don't like Nascar racing so I'm not looking to get into that.
I like touring cars, and eventually I want to race prototypes.
I know it takes time but since I'm already 17 do I have any chance. I saw on the Grand Am Rolex Sports Car series racing website this guy named Graham Rahal he is 19 and he has been racing since he was 8. Does this meen I have no shot at starting to race?
There are racing schools all over the country that teach the basics, and you have to learn the skills just as in any other sport.
The downside is it takes a TON of money or sponsorship to get into a car.
